This is our own twist on the classic Sussex Trug's of Thomas Smith in Herstmonceux, and tradionally made from locally coppiced Chestnut or Hazel with Copper tacks.
Our own version still uses locally cut Chestnut and we have added a turned Walnut handle to create a stunningly beautifully and hugely practical trug for use around the home and garden.
